The VNC setup does not allow me to bring the dbca to create a database

ODA team,

I would like to know as how to create a database on ODA X3-2 version 2.4.

1. The VNC setup does not allow me to bring the dbca to create a database. How to test that the VNC server is setup and configured correctly. and not sure why the dbca does not bring up the GUI. When I run ./dbca, it just gives back the prompt without any error.

2. I would like to know the instructions to create using command line(OAKCLI) as a standalone database.

Please advise the best way to create a database in ODA either command line or using GUI.
