Cycle Count Adjusment Quantity based on when count entered or when approved

due Hello,

We are on 12.2.3  and have a question on cycle count adjustment.

The cycle count adjustment qty is based on the difference in the system qty and qty entered when the count is entered .So if the system qty is 3 and count entered is 2,the adjutsment qty is -1.This adjustment is not approved yet .Later someone does a misc issue of 1 of the 3 system qty and the system qty is now 2.Now the adjustment qty is approved and the system qty becomes 1 due to the adjustment of -1

(instead of remaining 2 which is what is correct) .

Why does the system not account for the system qty at the time of approving the adjustment instead of what existed at the time of when the count was entered because for cycle counting locations are not locked down as they occur on a daily basis so there can be a problem in the system qty as in this case.

Howdy, Stranger!
