Depreciation run twice for the same period

Depreciation has been run for the same set of FA books for the same period twice.   The first run has completed normally however the second run completed with the error message

APP-OFA-47715: Error: function fadccs returned failure (called from FADEPR)

/app_base/SSCPRD/apps/apps_st/appl/fa/12.0.0/bin/FADEPR

Program was terminated by signal 11

What are the implication to the system of running depreciation twice for the same period.
