Migrate HFM application from 11.1.2.3 to 11.1.2.4

Hello,

I noticed in 11.1.2.4.100 the Copy application utility has the disadvantage that it can be used only in the same environment and not across environments. So, if I would migrate an HFM application from 11.1.2.3.500 to 11.1.2.4.100 both in different environment I can't use the Copy utility of 11.1.2.4 and then the Upgrade schema utility.

How can I approch the migration? Is there a different way to use the Copy and Upgrade schema utilities?
