ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup

Hi All,

I have Oracle 11g R2 running on CentOS 6, 64bit env.

I have a standby database that has fallen behind and we have lost the archive logs.

Strangly though, the cron jobs applying the logs reports that standby database is only 606 logs behind - which for our load is about 2 days worth of logs. We do dataload every few weeks and standby db does fall behind.

Now I tried to manually start recovering the database.

That's when I got following error, look at the bolded text.

SYS 4294967295 > alter database recover standby database;

alter database recover standby database
