How to Add/Configure Custom Alerts P43S001? - JDE

I was looking for options on adding custom alerts to be available for supplier on SRM Portlet. I found in a document that R43S001 populates F43S0001 from UDC 43S/AL. So, I added a custom value in UDC 43S|AL and ran report R43S001. And R43S001 added the custom UDC value as a custom alert in F43S001 which I can see via P43S001 Application but when I click on EDIT, it shows nothing. How can I attach a JDE application to this custom alert?
