Applying Patch 21068507 in a Data Guard physical standby system

Looking at installing the latest Jul2015 PSU and the JVM patch (21068507) is listed as not Data Guard Standby First installable..  Ok great..

The post installation requires starting the db in upgrade mode and running datapatch.. how exactly am I supposed to apply this post installation to primary and physical standby servers in a Data Guard environment?  There is no mention of the required steps/order in which to apply the post installation in this type of environment when one cannot use standby first..
