String/Date field vs. Numeric field question

Hi there,

I have a question from our end users, but I am not able to provide a clear answer. Can anyone help me with the question? Is E1 9.2 better on this behavior? Can you please provide a document with highlight of E1 9.2? Thank you in advance!!

Why String/Date column able to auto populate the rest lines after first line is entered, but not Numeric column? Please see attached screen shot - Request Date, Description ..columns, I am able to type "t" and "testing" will be auto populated for the rest of lines. Same behavior doesn't apply to Supplier (VEND) or other Numeric columns. Is there any way to make Numeric column the same behavior?
