Deletion of profiles in ARM taking long time

Hello,

Every month we delete profiles and reload the entire set of profiles with the updates and changes due to the frequency of the changes. With the increase in the no of profiles, we observe that it is taking hours to delete profiles from within ARM tool. If the deletion is done from DB in the backend, it takes few seconds to delete. So wondering why does it take so long to delete from the profiles view. We are on v11.1.2.2.350. Is there any setting or any tuning to be done to improve this process?
