hr_maintain_proposal_api.update_salary_proposal is not updating Element Entries

Hello,

We have the used the hr_maintain_proposal_api.update_salary_proposal to update the approved salary and we found that the API did updated the salary but we could not see nay changes in the Element Entries.

Anyone faced the similar problem?

Please advise.
