EBS Upgradation

Dear Team,

We are upgrading our entire existing systems.

1) From Solaris physical machines to Solaris Virtual machines.

2) Operating system Solaris 10 to Solaris 11.

3) Database 10g to 12c

4) EBS R12.0.6 & R12.1.3 to EBS R12.2.4

  

My questions are here in below,

  

Approach 1 : Building a completely new environments with fresh installation from scratch. At phase 1, New VMs(T5-2 hardware) will be setup and then Solaris 11.2 OS will be installed on that. After that, New DB 12c is installed on the new systems and EBS R12.2.4 application is installed & Configured.

  Here with this approach,

1) How the existing applications are migrated to the new systems?
