Replication while manager stopped

Hi All,

I've a very simple question. Suppose there is a ongoing replication with Extract-Data Pump-Replicat architecture. All 3 GG processes are running fine.

My question is if we stop manager at target after some time, how will it impact replication at target.

As per my understanding, data pump will connect with target manager at the time of startup and then manager starts up dynamic server collector process and pass on the server collector info. And pump will connect with server collector directly onwards.

So, how will it impact if manager is stopped other than general house keeping or monitoring activities.
