Running A/R without the G/L interface

Is there anyone running A/R with the G/L interface turned off in AR Contants'.

Are there any gotcha I should be looking for?

Can it ever be turn on after been using it without it?

JDE E1 9.0 TRL 9.1.4

Windows Server 2008 R2

Oracle DB 11G
