enabling realtime replication on a physical standby which doesn't have a standby logfiles

Hi ,

how this could succeed, enabling a realtime replication, when both Primary and Standby databases do not have any standby logfile ?! in other hand I didn't enable the force logging in the database ?!?!

I believe that it didn't, and Oracle has done something else instead !?! what is it ! let's check the alertlog:

Standby Alert Log:

could you please share your opinion about the info in alert log ?!?

what about about this warning message ?

Warning: ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE USING CURRENT LOGFILE has been deprecated.

is this command deprecated in 12c release ? or it just a warnning message because of that the standby logs are missing ?

Howdy, Stranger!
