Delay in detecting removal of hard disk in 11.2

Hi,

The OS is 11.2 on T5-2.

OS is up and running fine.

During the disk redundancy UAT test, 1 of the disk was removed from the pool, the OS took 4-6 mins to detect the removal of the disk.

The customer is not satisfied with this as he is worried that this delay could have an impact on the application.

According to the customer, normally the delay would be only 1-2 mins and this long delay issue only happened on 11.2.

Is this the expected behaviour on 11.2?

Is this a bug?

Any impact if the delay is unusually long?

Please advise.
