IProcurement Issue

I need help adding the items currently in Oracle to be mapped over into IProcurement for Suppliers. The issue I'm having is that the items already in there are in standard purchasing when they need to be in global purchasing agreements so I can set up assigning sourcing rules and an approved sourcing rules, which I believe will let me gain access to the item in IProcurement.

Am I missing a step to convert standard to global purchasing blanket or does it need to be made from scratch? Thanks.
