Hi Team,

As part of configuring ethernet ports in M4000, I have to remotely tell my DC engineer on connecting ethernet cables on various ports.

From the OS level, i can see the ethernet ports are

root@server1 # grep nxge /etc/path_to_inst

"/pci@1,700000/network@0" 0 "nxge"

"/pci@1,700000/network@0,1" 1 "nxge"

"/pci@3,700000/network@0" 2 "nxge"

"/pci@3,700000/network@0,1" 3 "nxge"

root@server1 #

And from XSCF hardconf

IOU#0 Status:Normal; Ver:0101h; Serial:BF10147D7B  ;

        + FRU-Part-Number:CF00541-2240 05   /541-2240-05          ;

        + Type:1;

        DDC_A#0 Status:Normal;

        DDCR Status:Normal;

            DDC_B#0 Status:Normal;

        PCI#2 Name_Property:network; Card_Type:Other;

        PCI#3 Name_Property:SUNW,qlc; Card_Type:Other;

Howdy, Stranger!
