Spreadsheet add-in and Office 2013

Has anyone had difficulty installing the latest spreadsheet add-in (11.1.2.2.103B043) under WIndows 8.1 and Office 2013?  It seems to install correctly, but when I attempt to connect to a server, there is no login dialog box.  When I attempt to repair the installation, I get the following error:

PS: yes, I know I should be using SmartView, but I have a VBA app that is still not migrated yet.
