How to remove Predefault in Owner MVG of Action BC?

Hi,

We have a requirement where the OwnerID of the Activity to be chosen by the user but not per-defaulted to the logged in user while creating new activity. I did remove predefaults on Owned By field but still somehow the owner Id is being populated with logged in user when a new record is created.

Is there any other configuration that is forcing this? BTW this is a BC cloned from Action BC and the class is also set to CSSBCBase.

we are using FINS Siebel 8.1.1.11.
