Invalid Central Inventory location "/app/oracle/oraInventory"

I'm on a redhat linux dev host

trying to install weblogic version 12.1.3

and will get this message Invalid Central Inventory location "/app/oracle/oraInventory"

since our group [middleware admin] is NOT part of the DBA group, what export do I use to change this to

/opt/bea/oracle

that I do have access to

?

/opt/bea/jdk1.7.0_80/bin/java -jar /opt/bea/product/weblogic/12c/12.1.3/fmw_12.1.3.0.0_wls.jar
Launcher log file is /tmp/OraInstall2015-08-12_12-51-10PM/launcher2015-08-12_12-51-10PM.log.

Invalid Central Inventory location "/app/oracle/oraInventory" (cannot read/write/execute).

wlsadm> ls -lad /app/oracle/oraInventory
