VBC based applets on Taskbased UI

HI Everyone,

Has anyone been able to successfully build a task based UI containing a VBC based applet on one of the task views?

Here's the scenario we have:

Need a TBUI for creating say Contacts

Step1 - task view based on transient bc to capture first name, last name and email address

step 2 - task view based containing applets based on vbc (which invokes an outbound webservice) to display list of possible matches of existing contacts in system

Note the webservice call is to a third party data quality tool which provides soap based web service to display possible matches
