Symbolic URL Handshake

Hi Team,

I have requirement to embed one website in Siebel HI application(8.1.1.1.10) to show external content. There is handshake involved where in, when user navigates to view having symbolic URL, we would have below mandate to follow:-

> Siebel would send request to external website as part of handshake request.

> External website would respond to handshake.

> Siebel would acknowledge then send customer information etc to set context in external website.

While there are straightforward example of embedding content using Iframe/Inline etc,we would like to know if handshaking implementation is possible within Siebel by configuration or do we need to write custom code to achieve it?  Please let us know tips for the same.
