Will Create Accounting spawn child processes if there are no accounting events?
I have a user that swears the following processes always run, even if there is nothing to process:
Accounting Program
Journal Import
Open Account Balances
TB Worker 1 (Open Account Balances Data Manager Worker Process)
Subledger Accounting Balances Update
However, when I run Create Accounting, I find the following in the Log:
Technical warning : There are no events to process.
Accounting Program did not find any events.
We had an issue earlier this morning where the ICM was hung. I restarted the APPS tier without any luck, and there was a message next to the running managers about the target node queue unavailable. I shut down the APPS tier, ran cmclean.sql over it, started back up the APPS tier, and still had the message. Then I took it back down again, ran FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN over it, ran AutoConfig on the DB, then on APPS, and re-ran cmclean.sql. This resolved the issue and now the managers are functioning as expected...but I want to confirm the concern about Create Accounting.
