Using same contract number in a different OU

Hello,

We have a case where we need to terminate 1 OU and start a new one (new company). Existing contracts in the old OU will be terminated and recreated as new contracts in the new OU. I understand that the same contract number cannot be reused. Given that the customer has signed the PO with this contract number, how do I go about re-creating this contract in the new OU.
