Cannot import Financial Reporting Report into Word

Cannot import file of type Financial Reporting Report (using EPM, Reporting and Analysis 11.1.2.3) from Explore 11.1.2.3 into Word or PowerPoint (using Office 2010).


Using Smart View for Office 11.1.2.3.


Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Word. Connect to DB using Workspace data provider (Private Connection, http://:/workspace/browse/listXML)

2. In Explore, generated a Reporting and Analysis report. Report is displayed in PDF mode.

3. File > Export > Word > selected “Open” in the dialog. “Downloading” dialog displays.


Nothing is imported into Word. Expected the report to appear in Word.


What data provider type should I use? A provider that ends in “workspace/browse/listXML”, or “raframework/browse/listXML”?
