What are the steps to change registry and shared services database connection

We are on Essbase 11.1.2.1.  The database group is moving the Oracle registry and shared services databases and we need to update the connection information on our Linux and Windows servers.   On Linux we run Foundation Services, OHS, Admin Services, and Analytic Provider Services.  On Windows we run Essbase services.

1) How/where on the Linux server would I make the change for the new Oracle connection information?

    Do I just update using the Oracle EPM Configuration tool?

   ex. /essbase/Oracle/Middleware/EPMSystem11R1/common/config/11.1.2.0/configtool.sh? 

   Any other places? Are there any docs with the steps?

2) How/where on the Windows server would I make the change for the new Oracle connection?
