Consigned Inventory with a Variable Price

We have recently implemented Consigned Inventory into our R12.1.3 environment and have an issue handling consignment items with a variable price.  As an example, we consign vehicle transmissions and the price of the item is contingent on the repair cost of the rebuilt core.  A core is sent back to the vendor to be rebuilt and we are responsible for the repair cost of the core.  The rebuilt transmission is subsequently received back into consignment at the repair cost.  My biggest challenge is that I want to update the Consumption Advice price (PO Shipment Line) to match the actual repair
