weblogic 12.1.1 connection pool behaviour

hi all,

we face some weird behaviour with Weblogic 12.1.1 connection pool: E.g. we have 4 connections used within a connection pool of 20 connection. If the application asks for 2 new connections, we see, that the connection pool is extended and after a while (before any of the active connections is given back) reduced again. After server start, the pool already was exhausted anytime, but when the request arrives, it's more or less 'idling around'. Any idea? Has anyone experienced a similar behaviour?
