Is the web server function of WLS based on Apache?

Hi all,

Does anyone tell me whether the web-server function of WLS (doesn't mean OHS that separately installed) is based on Apache ?

I found the info (on web) says that it isn't based on Apache but based on original module. But the source was uncertain.

I want official document or opinion of ORACLE.

Should i send a question on MOS ?

We use WLS 10.3.6.
