Should we use Oracle EAM and Fleet Management for an enterprise.

The client has purchased both Oracle eAM and Fleet Management and want to implement both modules. In this case we need to maintain the Asset Numbers in Fleet Management and EAM? Please clarify and suggest a best solution.
