Should Sales Order Ship To Address be Point of title transfer for taxation solution - R12 Vertex

We currently upgrading to R12.2.4 from 11i  and have Order to Cash modules installed in our system, as part of R12 upgrade we are also upgrading Vertex Q series and implementing Vertex Global engine. The problem with this is that, our current Vertex implementer requested that Customer Ship To address should always be our point of title transfer.

Ex: Currently Customer send PO

  • Customer Purchase Order has "Ship To" as California (CA)
  • Inco-terms are "FCA Factory"
  • Ship From : Texas

Future:

  • Customer Purchase Order "Ship To" should be "Texas"  [Should match to the point of title transfer which is Ship from]
