Firm purchase order is not getting pegged!

Dear Experts,

We have an issue where the firmed PO is not pegged to any demand and so MRP is generating extra planned order. Below is the sequence of events while encountering the issue:

1. Create Time Fence profile was set as 'Yes' at site level. So for a new SO demand the planned order was suggesting a delivery date way beyond the demand date. This is expected and we understand.

2. We changed the profile to 'No' and after that the date for the new planned order is appropriate but the pegging for the other SO has been removed and a new planned order has been recommended. The firm PO which was pegged with SO is hanging there as excess supply.
