How to change deferred Account segments after distributions creation in material transaction

Dear All

I have a requirement to change segments of deferred account segments. As per standard deferred is being picked defined in organization parameters. But I am giving 3 segments at order header level which need to replace deferred account after distributions have been created. I want to know how distributions are created (via workflow,plsql procedure etc.)
