ar_cm_api_pub.apply_on_account api Performance

Dear All,

I am using ar_cm_api_pub.apply_on_account api to apply credits to Debits. I am running this API in loop by selecting each debit and credit. After some time I can see, API is stuck and doing nothing. Anyone please advise what might be the issue. This is working fine in other instances.
