Posting GL entries to multiple ledgers

We currently have a single company ledger to which multiple legal entities and operating units post their respective transactions, which is all seeded Oracle functionality with no customizations (EBS 12.1.3).  We also have a separate and distinct customer ledger to which we post entries from external systems to support one of our customers.  With the rollout of AR (posting to the company ledger), there is an additional need to post portions of these transactions to the customer ledger.  Seeded functionality, from what we understand, would require us to setup a separate AR operating unit for the customer ledger to manage the cash application for customer ledger side.  Is there a way to use seeded Oracle, with accounting rules, to automate the posting of entries from the
