Work Orders in PS Scenario

Dear Experts,

I am running an ASCP Plan which is later referenced in PS Plan.

For the purpose of testing, I have unchecked the net WIP flag in plan options. In short, I am not planning the existing production batches.

All I get to see is the planned orders in ASCP.

But when I go to the PS Plan, it is showing both the existing batches and the planned orders.

Is this the expected behavior? Can anyone explain the rationale behind this?

Our expectation is that since the ASCP plan doesn't have those batches, even PS shouldn't show  them in the scenarios.
