11.5.10.2 (ATG.RUP7) : After entering username/password some users are getting "You have encountered

Hi,

Last week some users reported that after attempting to logon (they entered their username/password) they saw the message "You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance."

As per How to Diagnose an 'You Have Encountered an Unexpected Error" (Doc ID 562796.1)

  • I set the profile option FND: Diagnostics = Yes
  • The user logged on again and reproduced the problem

The error message after the "Detail" line was the same for all users reporting the problem.
