Migrating Management Agent from one host to another

edited Sep 2, 2015 10:01AM in Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

I have migrated my database to another host-Linux environment. I want to migrate management agent from previous server to the new server so to start monitoring the same database target on new server. I have copies the Agent base to new server. I have edited targets.xml and emd.properties files to reflect the new server environment. But the agent fail to start and the emctl status agent command return the following: Status agent Failure:unable to connect to http server at https://XXXXXX:3872/emd/lifecycle/main/. [failed to match hostname XXXXXX with certificate DN CN=YYYYYY] here xxxx is new server and YYYY is old server name. I don't want to make new installations to maintain the database target data already in management repository Please any help to migrate successful!!! Regards sadock
