OPM with Encumbarance Accounting

We are in 12.1.3 and OPM enabled Organization. As we are implementing Project Costing. As there is a requirement to enable Encumbarance, analysis found that OPM will not support Encumbarance accounting ( Reference oracle Doc 1115898.1). Is this still valid. Can anyone confirm if we can OPM work with encumabarance.
