localonly property vs local devices

Hi everyone,

IHAC with a two node cluster configuration running SC 3.3  This cluster has been in production for around five years.

A recent review of this cluster configuration found out that the localonly flag of all local  did devices (boot disk, boot mirror, and disks used to configure local Zfs pools) is set to false.  According to the EIS checklist, the localonly property should be set to true on these devices.

Giving the fact that this cluster has been in production for a while, should the customer apply this change?

What are the risk of not doing it?

Could be the change applied without any disruption?
