Quantity on hand calculation in cycle count

While performing the Inventory cycle count, we have noticed that for a given item and a certain lot the quantity on hand displayed in P41241 is -27 while in item ledger quantity on hand is 0 for this lot and item. After reviewing all item ledger records, it seems that a consumption has been created on this item and from this lot in a time where this lot had no availability. This was corrected by a PI (physical inventory transaction) adjustment in a previous cycle count. This adjustment was supposed to fix the quantity on hand. When performing the next cycle count, the quantity on hand of the same lot appeared as -27 as if it was not adjusted. So we had to perform another
