Inventory with no G/L Impact?

Client is looking to use inventory to track quantities only, ie: F41021 but absolutely no hits on the F0911. I have an SR logged around disabling the G/L interface in the Line Type, this does not seem to be working, ie: transactions are still appearing in the G/L. I can disable the F0911 update by way of the P41001, B/P Constants, that seems to work fine. Client will not be bothered about integrity issues between F4111 / F0911 / F41021, in fact they probably will never run those reports, they just want a heads up as to what is in
