Documentation for Employee Data Flat File Conversion and Interoperability

I am trying to find documentation and/or knowledge documents related to Employee Flat File Conversion (R47002C / XJDE0013), transaction ID JDEEMPL, to import Employee Master data into the JDE system.  Also would like to know if this method of import Employee Data is even supported any longer.  If still supported, what are the requirements/limitations for using this method to import EE data from a 3rd party system?  Looking for best solution to auto-update EE master data for Adds, Changes, and Rehires.  We have determined the quick-hire functionality will not meet our needs.  EE data is being fed from and ADP
