Collaborative Use of Academic Planner between the Student & Advisor

University of Wisconsin – Whitewater has a bolt on to Campus Solutions which allows for the advisor to help plan an advisees semester course loads.

Looking at the Academic Planner functionality and testing it from a student’s perspective, it appears to be a potential replacement to our bolt on and it could even make it more of a collaborative advisor/advisee planning process.  We tried to add Academic Planner to the Self Service > Advisor Center > Advisee Student Center so that it would appear in the ‘other academic…’  drop down menu similar to how the Advisement Report, Advisor Notes, Grades, What-if-Report, etc. appear but it did not show up as expected.  Just like Advisement Report, Advisor Notes, Grades, What-if-Report, etc. appear in the student’s student
