JD Edwards French Chart of Accounts Requirements

Hi comm

France requires that it be demonstrated that transactions can be entered directly to the local chart of accounts. If there is one chart of accounts for the company across France England and USA can anyone say how this can be demonstrated as the French accounts can probably be mapped using cat codes . Is it as simple as demonstrating that the entries can be made to the accounts mapped to the French COA? has anyone ever experienced this or worked with this requirement ?
