Unrealized gain/loss accounts missing company segment?

Hi all,

Our finance dept want to change the coding for the unrealised gain/loss accounts under Revaluations in GL. The current accounts listed for gain and loss only contain the business unit, prime account, line of business and intercompany segments - they are missing the company and location segments. The problem is that when we try change the coding it requires the company segment to be defined (location segment is greyed out). Why is this and will defining the company cause any issues when it is not currently defined?

Also just a small question on realised gain/loss - > what is the difference between the gain/loss accounts in accounts payables and accounts receivables?
