APC-MDO Config and load information

Hi.

I have two questions about APC-MDO 14.0:

1 - On the CG for 14.0 is mentioned that the apc.properties file should be edited. But both on the CD and on the installation path, this file is empty (0 bytes). Is this file config still valid?

2 - What information (and how) do I need to feed the application with? There is no mention of interfaces or the types and structures of data that should be loaded and where to. After the installation I was hopping to see some vanilla data but couldn't find anything. It's obvious that we need calendar, organizational and merchandise hierarchies, most likely sales but in what form, how to load them?
