Problem installing Solaris 11.2 x86 on OVM Server 3.2.1 using OVM Manager 3.2.1 - no display on cons

I am trying to install Solaris 11.2 x86 on OVM server 3.2.1 and the  OVM Manager console does not display any output.

The VM is configured as a HVM, the iso file is in a repository and the physical disk is a fiber channel LUN from a 7320.

The VM appears to start correctly and the console starts and indicates that it is connected but nothing is displayed. It just says that it is connected.

I can find plenty of information about using Virtualbox.

Any help is appreciated, especially telling me where I can find the answers.
