Release from Fulfillment (R4277701) creates new Shipment for not released quantity

Hi,

When a quantity is partially released and SO line is splited into released and not released quantity - a new shipment number is assigned to not released line. The processing option behind R4277703 to remove not released quantity from a shipment is not activated (is blank) and R4277707 is not launched.

The shipment consolidation in Transportation Constants is set to Sales Order Consolidation.

Question: why new Shipment number is assigned to not released quantity?

Version: E1 9.1.
