Web ADI keeps crashing

When approx. 8000 rows are loaded through ADI it Crashes.  The login page of EBS becomes blank. The DBA has to restart the Application.

To avoid this problem I loaded 500 assets at a time. It worked for around 1500 assets then crashes again.

Now as a workaround I load 500 assets then close excel and clear the cache in functional administrator then log out EBS then log in again to load another 500 assets.

Is it possible to load 8000 assets at one go in web adi?? What could be the problem?

Currently I am loading the assets on a clone instance. Soon I will have to load the assets on a production instance. Restarting EBS several times if web adi crashes will not be an appropriate solution.
